All the Way Home!

After 3 days of traveling from Brazil, we finally made it all the way home to Kettle Falls, WA.  It is so great to be home, we are so excited to visit and see everyone, and to spend some quality time in the USA!

First order of business, super fancy baby breakfast!  This is how 1 piece of French Toast comes.  So tiny and cute!

Second order of business, enjoy this huckleberry lemon drop martini.  Those are real huckleberries floating in there.  Yum!

Kettle Falls got a new restaurant, Rio's Tacos.  We met everyone here for a delicious Mexican feast!

September Update

Not too much happening in September between trips, but here are a few highlights:

Oh yeah! I'm THAT dad!

That's right, homemade teething biscuits in cute jungle shapes!

Recipe:

 1 cup flour

1 cup oats

1 banana

2 tbsp veg. oil

+/- 2 tbsp water

Knead all ingredients into a dough.

Roll out and cut into shapes.

Bake at 375 for 10-15 mins.

Kylie's First Birthday!

Kylie turned one year old today! I can't believe that it's already been a year. Time really is flying by. We had a little birthday party with a few of Kylie's baby friendzinhos! It was Hello Kitty / Mexican themed with tacos and chocolate cake!

Every day is basically Kylie's birthday. Here's a pile of her loot at the airport from our recent trip to DC.

This morning we drove out to George Washington's house, Mt. Vernon, after a semi-joking comment from Ron yesterday! Be careful what you wish for in a horrible swamp town with over 2,000 historical attractions (aka Washington DC)!
