Laura Beach

Surprisingly, I have not been back to the Laura end of Majuro since we first got here! It was fun to show Ron and Julie the rest of the island and have a post-Thanksgiving picnic on the beach. After lunch, we explored the beach at low tide and then flew kites with some local kids as the tide came in.

Eneko

This weekend, we finally made it out to Eneko, one of the smaller islands in Majuro Atoll. It's known locally for it's excellent snorkeling, and it didn't disappoint.

It's a good day for a boat ride

 Laughing!

Purse seiner tuna boats

A coral bridge between two islands at low tide

A spooky sinking ship!

 Welcome to Eneko

We had the beach all to ourselves!

The coral was much nicer on this side of the lagoon

 Post-snorkeling beach combing

 Thirsty? Drink some rain!

 Tiny, stormy island

All snuggled up and heading for home.
