Summer vacation was pretty relaxed for us, just the usual sunsets, canoes, and a super un-birthday present from Aunt Jacquelyn!

WAM Canoe Ride

Today, we headed out for a ride in a traditional Marshallese outrigger canoe with Carri and Jason. It was so peaceful and fun! The biggest surprise for me was that when it was time to tack, they literally picked up the mast and moved it to the other end of the canoe!

 Kylie wasn't old enough for the outrigger, so she got a mini-boat ride in the rubber raft!

Carri and Jason flew out for a week-long visit! One of our first outings was to Eneko Island on a very stormy day.

Snorkel Trip

This weekend, I went out with a few friends on a snorkel trip to an outer area of the atoll. The longish trip out of town was definitely rewarded with tons of fish and great coral.
