Here are some of the sights we saw in the month of June around Majuro! To see it live, follow me @autumnk0
Tomatillos in bloom. There will be green sauce on this island....
Spectacular sunset #1. This is one of the better ones I've taken, I think. #nofilterneeded
A tamarind margarita. A taste of Mexico in the Equatorial Pacific.
Everything is better when it's made at home.
We've been leaning to make Japanese home-style food. Here is ramen, and it was amazing.
Basil from the garden. The garden is improving our lives everyday, I tell you.
Another one. Eric has a scientific explanation for why the sunsets are so incredible here. You should ask him about it. :)
So, I found this cute Marshallese handicraft little box one day and thought it would be perfect for carrying around my asthma medicine. Eric later told me it is obviously a cigarette box holder. It fits my medicine perfectly, and I love the irony.
Tropical garden-scape.
Shell earrings, made in the RMI.
A lazy afternoon on the deck. This umbrella was the best purchase of the year.
Everyone needs a well stocked fridge, right?
It's just so amazing, I can't stop taking pictures of it.
Everyone needs his or her own little bed.
More Japanese food. This learning to make Japanese food is the best idea we have ever had I think.
Family cooking time.
And one parting sunset.
