Bye-Bye Brazil!

After two years, we are saying goodbye to Brazil, and hello to new adventures. See you soon back in the USA and later in the Marshall Islands!

September Fun

In between birthday parties and starting to plan our upcoming move, we've been hanging out at the beach, staying in on our (hopefully) last few days of the rainy season, and getting crafty!

June Update 1 of 2

With the World Cup taking over everything in Brazil, we have been staying close to home for the past few weeks. And, we will continue to do so for the next few weeks until it's all over. While that doesn't make for many great blogging opportunities, it does give one plenty of time to download one's phone, so here are a bunch of pictures from our day to day lives around Recife, here in exotic Brazil!

Réveillon - New Year's Eve

We rang in the new year loudly, at home, with a big fireworks show right outside our patio! We even woke Kylie up to go out to her second New Year's Eve party at a friends house. She didn't make it to midnight, but we all had a great evening. We can't wait to see what 2014 has in store for us!!

Praia dos Carneiros - II

We got up early (as usual) for an action packed day of fun in the sun! We started off with swimming and snorkeling in the natural pools formed by the reef. After a quick hammock nap, we had lunch next door at Bora Bora, then headed back to the reef at low tide to check out the tide pools. One more nap, then we walked down to the sand bar near the mouth of the Rio Formoso at sunset!
