Autumn spent her day getting poked and prodded at the dentist and doctor and Kylie and I got to have a fun visit to the Honolulu Zoo! (With the exception of the monstrous peacocks that terrorize the lunch cafeteria! I warned Kylie that they would be to scary - just like last time, but ultimately the scent of deep fried chicken strips was too much for her to resist, and tearful screams ensued!)

Palm Springs - Living Desert

This morning we drove out to the Living Desert for some cactus / zoo / playground fun with Kylie! She got her first allowance, spent it on a dinosaur toy and a lollypop, and immediately started crying, "I want my money back!" as soon as we got out of the gift shop. Lesson learned?

Today's adventure while mom was in boring meetings...the zoo!

Recife Zoo & Fun with Aya

Kylie and Aya have had so much fun over the past two years! Today, we headed out to the Recife Zoo and remembered all the good times!

Today we had an impromptu visit to the Recife zoo, including a PONY RIDE!

Recife Zoo - Parque Estadual de Dois Irmãos

Today, Kylie and I visited the Recife Zoo, and had a great time walking around and looking at the animals. There were mostly birds, monkeys, snakes and jungle-type animals, but they did have a few "exotic creatures" such as deer, bears, and a moose! Can't get those at home...lol!
