Shopping Extravaganza

Almost every day that Autumn is in training, Kylie and I head out to Costco or Target to shop for our two year supply of consumables and return home with a rental car laden with industrial sized laundry detergent and fifty cans of beans. It's not exactly the most entertaining activity with / for a two-year old, but we try to make it as fun as possible.

Meeting Snow White!

Kylie's absolute favorite attraction at Disneyland was meeting the princesses! She got to meet Belle, "Royal Friend" aka, the Sleeping Beauty understudy, and Snow White. They were all so cute, and it was very magical for Kylie!

Vegas Baby!

This week, we dropped Kylie off with my mom and headed down to Vegas. We started the trip off right with a night at the Davenport Hotel in Spokane before our flight. We even got to see Richie (although out of respect for the Vegas rule, no photos were taken!). Thanks for showing us a good time Richie!!

 So, we had lunch at Beijing Noodle No. 9, and we ordered this pan fried pork dumpling.  Autumn has made these dumpling from scratch at home before.  And guess what!  Hers were just like these.  :)

Autumn thought it would be a good idea to buy a 5,000 piece puzzle a week or two before our big move, 'cause, ya know...not too much going on around the house this week!

Cachaçaria Carvalheira

Today we visited Cachaçaria Carvalheira to learn more about cachaça and the caipirinha, Brazil's national alcohol and drink.
