We had such a wonderful time in Kettle Falls reconnecting with family and friends! It's fun to start a new chapter in our lives, coming back to DC to reconnect with more family and friends before we head out into the Pacific! Here are a few random photos from the past few weeks:

It Came! It Came!!

Today was a great and magical day.  Our household effects have finally arrived.  !!  Almost exactly a year to the day from our emergency pack out of Mexico City, our stuff is once again in our presence.  It is a great thing.  To all those who would scoff and say, "I don't need my stuff!  People are way too materialistic!," followed by an eye roll, I challenge you to try it for a year.  :)

Glorious boxes...

I spy with my little eye two things that were made in Mexico (hint: one of them is a pot!).  :)
