Christmas Day
This morning, we got up bright and early to drive out to Grandma Cathy's house to OPEN PRESENTS! Luckily, Santa knew where we would be, so he filled our stockings and dropped off our presents there on Christmas Eve. Uncle Jake and Uncle Ben were there along with Grandpa Rich from our Brown/Oakley side of the family. It was a very Frozen Christmas, much to the delight of Kylie-zinha!
Winky-Blinky had to go potty before she headed back to the North Pole,
and she pooped out a candy cane!
I'll never "let it go!"
What is it?
Is that Kylie, or Queen Elsa?!?
Playing her new piano!
*Thanks* Grandma!
In our three part Christmas Marathon, we spent the day after Christmas with Grandpa Ed, Grandma Lynn and the Kowitz's side of the family. We had so much fun that I forgot to take any pictures, except one!
Merry Christmas!

Sinagoga Kahal Zur Israel
We finally made it!! The most elusive of all of Recife's tourist attractions, and it only took two years and ten tries to get there on a day that it was actually open. After so many failed attempts, Veteran's Day was the day that the stars aligned, and Autumn had a non-Brazilian holiday off at the same time the the museum was open! High expectations were met, and we had a wonderful afternoon date while Kylie stayed home with Lica.
We've arrived, and...
...It's open!!

Halloween!
For Halloween this year, Autumn and I dressed up as X-persons Cyclops and Phoenix, while Kylie was a UW "cheeringleader", complete with Hello Kitty pom poms. I won third place at the Consulate Chili Cookoff and much fun was had by all!
Daddy-daughter Halloween fun!

Happy Halloween!
Tonight we all dressed up and went to a spooky Halloween party!
The costume fits! One little cupcake ready to party!
Fright-tuccini and eyeballs?! One spooky entree ready to go, complete with carved watermelon jack-o-lantern!
Oh no! An impromptu humungous parade nearly spoiled the fun...luckily, we know the back roads and were able to make it to the party on time.
Say queijo! Mark Antony, Cleopatra and a darling cupcake pose for a pic!
The royal couple :)
Oh no! Tiny cupcakes are afraid of werewolves...even werewolves with candy!
Phew! Luckily she has Mark Antony to save her!
Babies love candy!!
Eric gave a pumpkin carving demonstration. Again, his pumpkin carving skills are unmatched!
