August Instagram ++ Roundup

Here are some shots from my Instagram account (@autumnk0) and beyond for August.  Enjoy!

Homemade Udon.  Eric is the best cook ever.

Fishing off the deck..in cowgirl boots.

Double rainbow.

#nofilterneeded

Pizza disaster!  Homemade frozen pizzas do not behave the same way factory ones do.  Take note!

Hmmm, is it worth it?

It is real, I promise.

So fancy.

The pot of gold is in the lagoon...hmmm.  Side note, in the Marshallese language the greeting word, Iakwe, translates literally to "you are a rainbow."  Isn't that cool??

Do you know what this is??  Hint: It's related to a pineapple.

Eneko

This weekend, we finally made it out to Eneko, one of the smaller islands in Majuro Atoll. It's known locally for it's excellent snorkeling, and it didn't disappoint.

It's a good day for a boat ride

 Laughing!

Purse seiner tuna boats

A coral bridge between two islands at low tide

A spooky sinking ship!

 Welcome to Eneko

We had the beach all to ourselves!

The coral was much nicer on this side of the lagoon

All snuggled up and heading for home.
